Greetings from the hillside
The Magdalenenhof is a family-run 3-star superior hotel garni in Willingen (Upland), Germany. It sits quietly and a little elevated with a panoramic view of the mountains. The town centre, the REWE store, the train station, the Ettelsberg cable car, the K1 lift and the ski areas are all within walking distance.
Our rooms
Generous, bright, tasteful, and no two are alike. Double rooms with balcony or terrace, family rooms with bunk beds, a 75 m² apartment inside the hotel, the barrier-free apartment Lieblingsplatz (90 m²) and Lieblingsplatz 2 for up to six guests (120 m²). We are happy to help you choose.
Our spa area: small but fine
A Finnish sauna and a Physiotherm infrared cabin keep you warm, with a relaxation room, shower, towels and bathrobes. The Wellnest is a private sauna area you can reserve.
Breakfast and dinner
Breakfast buffet with regional products from 8 to 10.30 a.m. Half board is available at the neighbouring hotel, 10 metres away. Packed lunch from the buffet: 5 euros per person, please let us know one day in advance.
For active guests
Bike garage with tools and stand, bike wash, drying room and maps. You get 10 % off all rental items at the Snow and Bike Factory. The Uplandsteig trail is 150 metres from the house.
Good to know
Check-in from 1 to 6 p.m., check-out until 10.30 a.m. Reception daily 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can pay by cash or card. Free parking and a charging station for electric cars. Dogs are welcome in rooms with direct garden access.
